1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the https://routeway.ai and https://api.routeway.ai AI API routing service and dashboard platform ("Service") operated by Routeway ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Routeway provides an AI API routing service that:

Routes API requests to various AI model providers
Provides a dashboard for account management and usage monitoring

Data Handling Notice: We do NOT store your API prompts, requests, or responses under normal operating conditions. Your data is routed directly to the selected AI model provider. We may temporarily retain prompts and responses (maximum 48 hours) only when system errors occur for debugging purposes. Please note that third-party AI model providers may have their own data retention policies.

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

To use the Service, you must:

Create an account with accurate and complete information
Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
Provide a valid email address and payment method
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized access or security breaches
Using strong passwords and enabling two-factor authentication when available

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
Fail to pay outstanding fees
Remain inactive for extended periods

4. Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 Permitted Uses

You may use the Service to:

Integrate AI capabilities into your applications
Route API requests to appropriate AI models
Monitor and analyze your API usage
Develop legitimate business applications

4.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
Generate harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content
Circumvent usage limits or billing mechanisms
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract proprietary algorithms
Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation
Use the Service for unauthorized commercial purposes
Create fake accounts or impersonate others
Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
Engage in activities that could harm minors
Generate content for illegal surveillance or harassment
Create deepfakes or other deceptive media without disclosure

4.3 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

All content you submit through the Service
Ensuring you have rights to use and process submitted content
Compliance with applicable data protection laws
Any consequences arising from your use of the Service

4.4 Content Moderation and Safety Enforcement

To ensure the safety, availability, and legal compliance of the Service, requests submitted through the Service may be automatically scanned and analyzed prior to being routed to third-party AI model providers.

Requests identified as potentially violating these Terms or applicable laws may be blocked and not processed.

This automated detection is designed to identify prohibited content, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), exploitation of minors, and other illegal or harmful activities.

In limited and exceptional circumstances, flagged content may be subject to human review. Such review is conducted solely for the purpose of enforcing these Terms, maintaining service integrity, complying with legal obligations, and helping ensure that automated systems do not incorrectly restrict legitimate use.

We implement these measures in a manner designed to minimize data retention and access, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

5. Pricing and Payment Terms

5.1 Fees and Billing

Pricing is based on API usage
All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified
Taxes and additional fees may apply based on your location

5.2 Payment Processing

Payment is due immediately upon invoice generation
We accept major credit cards and other approved payment methods
Failed payments may result in service suspension
You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees

5.3 Refunds and Disputes

Fees are generally non-refundable except as required by law
Disputes must be raised within 30 days of the relevant charge
We may provide refunds at our sole discretion for service outages
Chargebacks may result in immediate account termination

Continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance

We do NOT store API prompts or responses under normal operating conditions
API requests and responses may be temporarily logged (maximum 48 hours) only when errors occur for debugging purposes
We process minimal data necessary for service provision in accordance with our Privacy Policy
You consent to data processing necessary for service provision
We may use aggregated and anonymized usage statistics for service improvement
Third-party AI model providers may process and retain your prompts according to their own policies

7.2 Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures
However, no system is completely secure
You acknowledge the inherent risks of data transmission
We are not liable for security breaches beyond our control

7.3 Data Retention

Data is retained as specified in our Privacy Policy
You may request data deletion subject to our retention policies
Some data may be retained for legal or operational requirements

8. Service Availability and Support

8.1 Service Level

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance
Emergency maintenance may occur without notice

8.2 Support

Support is provided via email and our Discord server
Response times vary by issue severity
We do not provide support for third-party integrations
Technical documentation is available through our platform

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.2 Limitation of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
DAMAGES EXCEEDING THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM

11. Third-Party Services

11.1 AI Model Providers

We route requests to third-party AI model providers
Each provider has their own terms and policies regarding data retention and usage
IMPORTANT: Third-party AI providers may store, process, or use your prompts according to their own privacy policies and terms of service
We are not responsible for third-party service availability, performance, or data handling practices
Changes to third-party services may affect our Service
You are responsible for reviewing and complying with third-party AI provider terms

11.2 Integration Responsibility

You are responsible for complying with third-party terms
We may modify or discontinue third-party integrations
Alternative providers may be substituted without notice

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time
Termination does not relieve payment obligations
Data deletion follows our standard retention policies

12.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate your account for:

Violation of these Terms
Non-payment of fees
Illegal or harmful use of the Service
Extended periods of inactivity

12.3 Effect of Termination
